Roman Shades...

Roman Shades come in many many styles from formal traditional settings to sleek and contemporary.  They are a great way to dress up a window where full drapes may not be appropriate. Like draperies, fabric shades are a functional way to control privacy, light and insulate a window. Shades can also be strung for bottom up and top down operation. This allows you to lower the top of the shade down, keeping privacy on the lower half of the window.

How do I measure for Roman Shades?

First you need to know whether you want a inside mount or outside mount. The mounting bar for shades is either screwed in to the window casing inside its frame, recessing the shade to flush with the molding. Outside mount screws into the face of the moulding or wall above the window. The width of a outside mount shade is only limited to your needs. With this in mind measure the finish dimensions of the shade you want. We will do the rest and calculate your yardage needs based on the design choice you make.

Shades operate with pull cord strings. As with any drapery product utilizing strings and cords, care must be taken to keep loose cords from children and pets.
